Wow! Good to know that I finally found the site moderator for Takbo.ph. Emailed you at admin@takbo.ph but it seem to bounce back a couple of times.

Anyways, this is Maymay Balatayo from Gawad Kalinga. Gawad Kalinga aims to build caring and sustainable communities to end poverty.

In line with our vision, we are having a GK Bayanihan Run with the tagline: Run with Gawad Kalinga and Help Rebuild the Nation! this coming September 26, 2010 and we are hoping that you could help us promote the said event in your site. It is part of the CamSur Marathon and they’re giving us a special category called the Bayanihan Category.

The run is a fundraising event to raise an amount for a GK village and/or for a GK program and involve not only runners but ordinary people who wants to be part of nation-building and run for a cause.

Hi, Luis! First, congrats on the BDM. Awesome, awesome accomplishment! Your recounting of your 102 was the most dramatic/real/entertaining tale out of all the tales I've read about it. (It's always a pleasure to read a well-written blog -- which is becoming a rarity these days -- haha!) I wish you the best in your future runs!

Second, thanks for you kind comments on ChiRunning. I believe that I've seen two: in Takbo and in Reelrunning. I appreciate the support very much.

And third, I wanted to ask you if you wanted me to hold a free ChiRunning Workshop for 12-14 Takbo members, as my way of helping Takbo celebrate its anniversary/anniversary run. (I actually wrote Jinoe about this weeks ago but I guess he never got my email, or it got lost in his Spam folder. And I don't want to push because I don't want to impose.) At any rate, I figured i'd ask you since I live in the Ortigas area, and it'd be easy for me to meet a group in Ultra or Tiendesitas.
